Sen. Johnson Releases Statement on State of the Union Address

Justice & Drew KTLK

State of the Union:  jaw-dropping statement – said he would “secure the border;” going to “stop inflation;” totally divorced from reality; covid – science hasn’t changed, polls have changed; don’t believe a word the democrats say, media complicit, covering for them

Ukraine:  President Zelensky courageous leader -Ukrainians are fighting for their freedom/families/lives; what are Russian soldiers fighting for? Putin kleptocracy?   Biden weakened America- -should have worked to prevent Russian action

The Jay Weber Show

SOTU: lies – will secure the border, fund the police – divorced from reality; media complicit; hope Wisconsinite/Americans are paying attention; can’t believe a word they say

Gov Kim Reynolds rebuttal: conveyed what republicans stand for

Ukraine: will need humanitarian aid

Gableman 2020 election report

Wisconsin Morning News/Meg Ellefson

SOTU: amazing denial of reality, lying on border, inflation, Ukraine; galling irrelevant speech, dishonest

Build Back Better:  Biden in WI today; has more pressing issues than to come to WI on campaign stop, should be in White House managing all of his disastrous policies; legacy media will fawn all over him

Wisconsin election issues: concerned about Milwaukee – need observers from both sides; goal should be to restore confidence that results are legitimate; delayed results look suspicious; need to figure out how they can get votes counted in timely manner; Zuckerberg money  - should illegal; WEC did not follow state law; state legislature passed laws, Evers won’t sign; should dissolve WEC, return responsibility to state legislature as set forth in the constitution; Gableman – confirmed findings of WILL and Wis Leg. Audit bureau –difficult to investigate with total lack of cooperation from WEC, etc

What can everyday citizens do to ensure votes count?  Vast majority of 1850 election clerks are people with very high integrity – don’t have to worry; there are problem areas – in democrat strongholds; that is why democrats want to cover up

La Crosse Talk w/ Mike Hayes

Sanctions:  Countries, including America, importing Russian oil; Russian power from oil and nuclear weapons

Election integrity:  I am looking at irregularities; need to restore confidence in election system openly and honestly; WEC issued guidance that did not follow state law; Zucker-bucks should be made illegal; Republicans want to make it easy to vote, hard to cheat; dems want to make it easy to cheat; a political hack had a key to the absentee ballot room in Green Bay!

Decertify results?:  Gableman discussed the issue but didn’t recommend from what I read in report;  if everything so clean, why such pushback, lack of cooperation?  States should handle elections, not federal government; should follow legislature responsibility outlined in the US constitution

O’Connor & Company

Covd:  federal health agencies part of covid cartel; so much of our response makes no sense; sent dozens of letters, no replies; when they do respond, high amount of redacted material; I will be chair of PMI if Republicans win, in charge of investigations

Origin of virus:  emails between Fauci, etc should provide information

Why CDC withholding information?:   no explanation, the information they’re withholding is being kept from the American people

Ukraine:  need to rush supplies to Ukraine

The Regular Joe Show

SOTU:  when it was not boiler plate liberal wish-list it was dishonest, galling

Most recent CDC letter: asking for covid information Americans deserve to have, not answered just as pervious numerous letters to CDC have not been answered; why did we pay such a huge price for covid?  Our approach didn’t work, was a failure, I’ve asked all of the questions, now we need answers; if I win I’ll be chair of permanent subcommittee on investigations with strong subpoena power

Q hospitals getting lots of money – can we get that information?

Trying to get. Hard to track down

Q way to get true accountability?

Will require exposure; data is out there

Q January 6 committee investigation?

Committee is one sided; much larger story

Gableman election investigation:  WILL, WI Legislative audit Bureau and now Gableman have all come to same conclusions; obstruction, lack of cooperation raises concerns; goal needs to be to restore confidence; common sense; constitution gives state legislatures authority over federal elections

The Dan Bongino Show

Energy: dem war on fossil fuel, push for climate change, dem policies have caused destruction/harm; Keystone – definition of democrat – “deny reality,” green energy lunacy

Ukraine:  Putin miscalculated, now cannot afford to lose, Russian people should depose him; faith in intelligence community on next step Putin will make? Difficult to do

SOTU:  boiler plate liberal programs that are mortgaging our children’s futures, and lies; if we want to preserve America we need to sweep democrats out of office in November

Sen. Johnson on Fox Business(Maria): Democrats War on Fossil Fuels Has Enabled Russia

2/25/22 Press Release

Sen. Johnson and Dr. Robert Malone for The Federalist: The Covid Cartel Lied, People Died.

Now They Say It’s All Your Fault

On Thursday, The Federalist published an op-ed by U.S. Sen. Ron Johnson (R-Wis.) and Dr. Robert Malone on how the COVID cartel – federal health agencies, Big Pharma, legacy media, and Big Tech – wrongly scapegoated those who chose not to be vaccinated and pit Americans against each other.

The full op-ed can be found here, and excerpts are below.

“The timing of scapegoating the unvaccinated for the ongoing pandemic was no coincidence. For anyone paying attention and not blinded by the siren song of Fauci, it was becoming apparent that the vaccines were not as safe or effective as we all hoped and prayed they would be. Because the Covid cartel was so vested in vaccines as the only solution to the coronavirus, evidence that their strategy was failing required a response.”

“The fall 2020 surge had peaked in January 2021, with the number of cases and deaths falling rapidly over the next 5 months. By June 2021, there had been approximately 120 million Covid infections in America, and strong evidence of the durability of natural immunity following Covid infection was growing. The percentage of fully vaccinated Americans was steadily increasing, and the logical expectation was that herd immunity was being achieved and the end of the pandemic should mercifully be in sight.

But it wasn’t, and the Covid cartel needed someone to blame: the unvaccinated. Because they had done everything they could to block early treatment, they had no therapeutics to offer the newly infected. Unlike Mexico, India’s Uttar Pradesh, and many other “less developed” nations, they couldn’t suddenly embrace the widely available, safe generic drugs they had spent the last year trashing and suppressing. The body count was simply too high for them to admit they were wrong about the life-saving potential of these drugs. So instead of fessing up to their tragic mismanagement, they allowed more people to needlessly die.”

“The American people were manipulated and turned against each other to hide government mismanagement, while many died unnecessary deaths due to suppression of early treatment options. Countless workers had to choose between losing their jobs or being coerced into accepting a medical treatment – Covid vaccination – they preferred to refuse. Businesses were disrupted, closed, and harmed, and the fabric of American society was deeply scarred.”

“A time of reflection and reckoning is coming, as the Canadian trucker strike proves. The Biden administration and the rest of the Covid cartel must stop dividing America and abusing its awesome powers. The path forward should be obvious. Respect the public by being honest and transparent with it. And stop infringing our God-given freedom and personal health autonomy.”

Sen. Johnson Issues Statement on Restoring Confidence in our Election System

On Tuesday, U.S. Sen Ron Johnson (R-Wis.) issued the following statement on former Wisconsin State Supreme Court Justice Gableman’s report on the 2020 election in Wisconsin.

“Like the Legislative Audit Bureau, Special Counsel Gableman raises severe issues regarding the 2020 election in Wisconsin that need to be taken seriously. The goal of our efforts moving forward is to restore confidence in our election system. That starts by following established law – which the Wisconsin Election Commission (WEC) failed to do multiple times during the 2020 election. The lack of cooperation by WEC and some local election officials is not only troubling, but their obstruction of his investigation raises other serious issues. I will continue to study the Special Counsel’s findings and work to make sure no legitimate vote is cancelled by a fraudulent one.”

Sen. Johnson Releases Statement on State of the Union Address

On Tuesday, U.S. Sen. Ron Johnson (R-Wis.) released the following statement on President Biden’s first State of the Union address.

“In spite of President Biden’s inaugural speech promise that his number one goal was to unify and heal our nation, today, America is even further divided due to his mismanagement of the economy, our southern border, foreign policy, and COVID-19.

”His failure to direct federal health agencies to research and recommend early treatment has cost hundreds of thousands of lives. His coercive mandates and other actions failed to end the pandemic – more people have died of COVID-19 under his watch than under the previous administration – but they have exacerbated our societal divide, keeping schools closed, firing front-line workers for making their own health care decisions, and shuttering businesses.

“The massive deficit spending he promoted and signed into law sparked 7.5% inflation, a level we haven’t experienced in forty years. In spite of his promise not to raise taxes on anyone making under $400,000, everyone should realize that inflation IS the Democrat’s tax on the middle class. It hurts the very people Democrats purport to represent – seniors on a fixed income and individuals at the lower end of the income spectrum. President Biden’s solution? Even more deficit spending on a laundry list of liberal programs.

“In addition, President Biden dismantled all of the previous administration’s programs and agreements that had stopped the flow of Unaccompanied Children and Families exploiting our asylum laws. He stopped building the wall, costing Americans more to NOT build the wall that it would have cost to simply complete it. The result is over 1.2 million immigrants who entered illegally in 2021 and have been dispersed throughout America.  And now he claims he wants to secure the border? Does he think the American people aren’t paying attention?

“All of these policy failures have weakened America and, combined with the embarrassing and dangerous surrender in Afghanistan, have emboldened our enemies by tempting them to take advantage of the current situation. It’s heartbreaking to watch what is happening in Ukraine. America should pray for President Zelensky and for the Ukrainian people who just want to live in peace and freedom.

“The fact that President Biden seems oblivious to the harm his administration and policies have caused to Americans ensures that he will not change course and his failures will continue. Unfortunately, the State of the Union is not good, and it will not improve with President Biden and Democrats in total control of the federal government.”

Sen. Johnson to CDC: The Biden Administration Favors Censorship Over Transparency

Demands CDC Respond to All Outstanding Letters

On Tuesday, U.S. Senator Ron Johnson (R-Wis.), sent a letter to Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC) Director Rochelle Walensky raising concerns about CDC’s lack of transparency and calling on the agency to immediately respond to all of the senator’s outstanding letters.

The senator highlighted eight letters that Dir. Walensky has either failed to respond to or CDC’s response was “significantly incomplete:”

·       May 19, 2021 – Requesting records relating to teachers’ unions and CDC guidance.

·       June 28, 2021 – Requesting information about COVID-19 vaccine adverse events.

·       July 13, 2021 – Requesting information on vaccine safety monitoring.

·       July 30, 2021 – Requesting data CDC used to create a slide deck on COVID-19 vaccine effectiveness.

·       August 22, 2021 – Regarding the Vaccines and Related Biological Products Advisory Committee meeting.

·       September 15, 2021 – Requesting information on the effectiveness of natural immunity as protection from COVID-19.

·       October 5, 2021 – Requesting information on early treatments for COVID-19.

·       December 29, 2021 – Requesting information about vaccine lot variation data.

The senator wrote that“CDC’s failure to respond to Congress appears to be one piece of the agency’s larger problem with public transparency.  According to the New York Times, during the ‘[t]wo full years into the pandemic, the [CDC] has published only a tiny fraction of the data it has collected.’”

Sen. Johnson added“Rather than provide the public with complete access to relevant data to justify its COVID-19 policies, the Biden Administration has apparently favored censorship over transparency.”

Sen. Johnson Demands Transparency from CDC on Promotion of Potentially Flawed School Mask Study

On Tuesday, March 1, 2022, Sen. Ron Johnson (R-Wis.), ranking member of the Permanent Subcommittee on Investigations, sent a letter to the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC) Director Rochelle Walensky seeking answers on her repeated reliance on a potentially flawed study of the effectiveness of mask mandates in schools.  Recent reporting identified serious flaws in study’s findings and methodology.

The senator wrote, “Between September and October 2021, you publicly cited the study multiple times to support the conclusion that mask mandates in schools help prevent COVID-19 infections.”

Months later in private, the senator noted that, Director Walensky acknowledged the “limitations” of the study.

Because of the apparent inconsistencies with CDC’s statements about this study, the senator requested all documents and communications relating to the study.  The senator also requested the CDC clarify potential false statements to subcommittee staff.

3/2/22 Press Release

Sen. Johnson, Colleagues Press White House for Accounting of Trillions in COVID-19 Spending

On Wednesday, U.S. Sen. Ron Johnson (R-Wis.) joined U.S. Sen. Mitt Romney and 34 of their Republican colleagues in a letter to the President requesting an accounting of how the federal government has allocated trillions in taxpayer funds to combat the pandemic. Specific answers to these questions are vital before Congress considers additional COVID-19 funding requests from the White House.

“Recent news reports indicate the Administration is poised to request an additional $30 billion from Congress for its response to COVID-19. While we have supported historic, bipartisan measures in the United States Senate to provide unprecedented investments in vaccines, therapeutics, and testing, it is not yet clear why additional funding is needed,” the senators wrote.

“…Since passage of the American Rescue Plan in February, questions are mounting about where exactly the additional money has gone. A recent investigative report from the Washington Post headlined, “’Immense fraud’ creates immense task for Washington as it tries to tighten scrutiny of $6 trillion in emergency coronavirus spending” details the federal government’s shocking failure to provide the American public with a faithful accounting of how it has spent its money,” the senators continued.

“Before we would consider supporting an additional $30 billion for COVID-19 relief, Congress must receive a full accounting of how the government has already spent the first $6 trillion,” the senators concluded.

Sens. Johnson and Mitt Romney were joined on the letter by Minority Leader Mitch McConnell (R-Ky.), Senators John Barrasso (R-Wyo.), John Boozman (R-Ark.), Mike Braun (R-Ind.), Richard Burr (R-N.C.), Tom Cotton (R-Ark.), Shelley Moore Capito (R-W.Va.), Bill Cassidy (R-La.), John Cornyn (R-Texas), Kevin Cramer (R-N.D.), Mike Crapo (R-Idaho), Ted Cruz (R-Texas), Steve Daines (R-Mont.), Joni Ernst (R-Iowa), Deb Fischer (R-Neb.), Chuck Grassley (R-Iowa), Bill Hagerty (R-Tenn.), Josh Hawley (R-Mo.), John Hoeven (R-N.D.), Cindy Hyde-Smith (R-Miss.), Cynthia Lummis (R-Wyo.), Lisa Murkowski (R-Alaska), Rob Portman (R-Ohio), Jim Risch (R-Idaho), Mike Rounds (R-S.D.), Tim Scott (R-S.C.), Richard Shelby (R-Ala.), Dan Sullivan (R-Alaska), John Thune (R-S.D.), Thom Tillis (R-N.C.), Pat Toomey (R-Pa.), Tommy Tuberville (R-Ala.), Roger Wicker (R-Miss.), and Todd Young (R-Ind.).
